Macramé Care Guide

On unboxing your order,

  • If you have ordered a piece with tassels or fringes then gently comb/brush the tassels/fringes as they may have become flat/tangled in the transit.

  • You may also just use your fingers to separate the cords.

  • If it's a hangable piece, hang it indoors or in shade. Do not expose the piece to direct sunlight for long as there is a chance of fading of color.​

​To dust,

  • You could gently shake it to remove the dust particles

  • You could also use a dusting brush/tool, or a lint remover. A paint brush or tooth brush will also do the job.

To spot clean,

  • Use a clean white cloth damped in cold water. You could even mix vinegar or mild detergent with water. Do not use detergents with bleach.

  • Before damping on the stain, try at the back of the piece to ensure cord color doesn't bleed.
